Meet Michael "Irv" Irvin - creator of PureLine Putting

Have you ever believed in something you were willing to risk everything to make it come into reality? That's what PureLine Putting means to me.

My light bulb moment came when I was not happy with my putting game. I started to use a line on my ball to line up my putts and quickly realized how time consuming and stressful it was on my body to crouch down repeatedly to line up one putt. I searched to find a product that could help me line up my putt from the vertical position, but there was nothing in the market. This started my journey in creating the PureLine Putting Training Aid.

The Training Aid Evolves

The 3 elements I needed the Training Aid to have included:

  1. A circular hole at the base that would go over the ball to make viewing a line on your ball and maneuvering the ball easy to eliminate the need to crouch or bend down. Also giving the golfer the ability to line their putt up in seconds.
  2. The Training Aid has to be able to "stand" on its own to allow for seamless set up after striking a practice putt. This maximizes practicing efficiency.
  3. The Training Aid has to be convenient and portable. The middle and far right designs incorporate a collapsible shaft to easily fit in the side pocket of your golf bag.

The Moment Zero Putter

Sometimes things in life are just meant to happen.

I was told a guy, Bobby Diplacido, in my home town makes putters. I reached out to him to show him my training aid idea. Not only is he from my home town, but he also lives 3 blocks away!

Bobby saw the vision immediately, and went to work on the putter design. All I can say is, WOW, this guy is brilliant! Bobby is also a golf lover that poured his heart and soul into the Moment Zero creation. Learn more on the Moment Zero Products Page.

What comes next?

Our first iteration of the PureLine Training Aid utilized a 3D printed Donut Icing. We also wanted to create a traditional look too.

We're still in the process of finalizing the creation. We anticipate within 1 - 2 months (hopefully in plenty of time before Christmas), this new gem will be ready for purchase.

I guess it's worth throwing out a little teaser about the Moment Zero Putter - We have an idea for the Moment Zero Putter that will open up the market to more customers. That's all I can say for now, but as soon as I can, I will share our exciting news with you!
